I’m a UX Design student at Purdue University. I grew up on Jeju Island, and this site is a small version of it: the turntable, the beach, the basalt rocks and the dolphins off the coast.

Chapter 01 — Jeju Island
Where I grew up
Jeju is a volcanic island off the south coast of Korea: black basalt walls, mandarin orchards, stone grandfathers (Dol hareubang) and dolphins you can spot from the coastal road.
At an American international school on Jeju I found a new version of myself: more creative, and free to explore ideas that did not have one right answer.

Chapter 02 — Purdue University
Why UX
That freedom set my path to the US and to UX Design at Purdue University, where I'm now in my third year.

Boxing at the CoRec
Chapter 03 — The CoRec
Dynamic meditation
I box to clear my mind, hitting the bag at the CoRec. I call it dynamic meditation.
I try to learn from the mindset and the path that boxers and MMA fighters walk. It's the ultimate test of yourself: staying true to who you are every single day, no matter what obstacles you face. That takes you to the deepest places in life, where you experience it to the fullest.

Ghost Coffee, my go-to
Chapter 04 — West Lafayette
Coffee on the table
I like going to a cafe, putting a good coffee on the table and drawing the creativity out of me while I enjoy my time.
My go-to lately is Ghost Coffee, right here in West Lafayette.
